Win a Free Office in Messiest Home Office Contest

By Stacey Bomser

Should your home office be condemned? For some reason, home offices are like little black holes, sucking in household bills, children’s toys, vacation brochures, and everything in between. Not only is it distracting, it’s disruptive to your business. But, if you can dig your camera out from under the piles of paperwork and other desktop debris, you might be able to win a free office suite for one year, courtesy of The Crexent Business Centers. The company has launched a nationwide contest, “In Search of the Messiest Home Office.”

The contest is open to anyone who has a business home office. To enter, simply post a picture or upload a video of your messy workspace on the contest website, www.themessiesthomeoffice.com, by December 31st. The three messiest home offices, as voted by viewers on the website, will win use of office space at The Crexent Business Centers, as well as the fame and glory of being known as having the messiest home offices in America. Winners will be announced in mid-January.

The Gold (grand prize) winner will receive a free office for one year. He or she will have the opportunity to work out of a fully-furnished, Class A Executive Business Suite in one of The Crexent Business Centers’ nine locations in Florida. (The lease is for twelve consecutive months and must begin no later than March 1, 2011, and end no later than February 28, 2012.) The Silver winner will receive a fully-furnished office for twelve months for 50% off the official published rate. All Crexent office suites feature a full-time receptionist, private telephone line, daytime personalized answering service, private 24-hour voice mail, personal mail delivery, copy and fax center, plus eight hours per month of conference room time.

The Bronze winner will receive a Platinum Virtual Office for twelve months, which includes dedicated telephone line with receptionist answering with your custom greeting, voice mail with remote access, business address, mail and package receipt and storage, plus four hours of conference room or day office use per month at any Crexent location.

  2. That's one bad thing about having a home office. It tends to be messy. Well, that doesn't mean that the typical office can't get that messy. The home office setup just gets messy easier. That's why I'm now looking for an available commercial property for lease. Florida's Crexent Business Centers might be a good idea, too. Considering your reputation, anyone would find it hard to reject. Who would turn their backs on a Class A office space, right?
